Next year will host a premier of many updated vehicles from Chevrolet. Among others, special attention is on the crossover market, where company is trying to catch pace with leaders in the segment. Because of that, constant improvements are needed, so that’s why we will get 2017 Chevrolet Trax.

Current vehicle has been present in Europe for few years, and although it is new for US buyers, company is preparing a new generation in few years. It could start with this model, which means there will be big changes, with a lot of updates and maybe new engines.

2017 Chevrolet Trax styling

Front of the new Trax is going to suffer most cosmetic modifications. Hood, headlights, bumper and grille should be revisited if new generation is being prepared. Latest technologies, such as LED and xenon lighting are to be involved, while new curves should give more attractive look to 2017 Chevrolet Trax, but still have to keep its familiar look.
Inside the cabin of the crossover a lot of new and more quality materials will be used. Leather and aluminum accents, with some new touches are being in rumors. Also, 2017 Trax uses new MyLink infotainment with a lot of new apps. Some of them are BringGo and Siri Eyes Free. However, all features will be available in three trim levels, LS as base, LT and LTZ as higher.

2017 Chevrolet Trax engine

Compact 2017 Chevrolet Trax crossover gets turbocharged unit as its base drivetrain. It is 1.4-l inline-four engine that sends power to front wheels. However, AWD Trax is possible with paying $1,500 extra.
The four-cylinder engine can deliver 140 hp and 150 pound-feet of torque through 6-speed automatic transmission. Other powertrain options are unknown yet, and there are no additional rumors so far. However, this unit is fuel efficient, while Trax crossover is not capable for off-roading as some other vehicles.

2017 Chevrolet Trax price

Although 2017 Chevrolet Trax could be part of the new generation of the SUV, price for it shouldn’t be changed a lot if company is going to keep pace with rival vehicles. That means crossover could be available from somewhere between $25,000 and $30,000, depending on features list.
