2017 Range Rover Sport

The Range Rover Sport is a mid-size luxury SUV produced by British manufacturer Land Rover. Original model came in 2005 and it was produced until 2012. In 2013, second generation model came. Current model is pretty much the same as one that came about two years ago.
There is still no official information about 2017 Range Rover Sport, but if we consider usual cycle of Land Rover’s models, we will probably see a mid-cycle refresh. If it comes refreshed, it will feature several changes, both visual and technical.
2017 Range Rover Sport specs
As we already mentioned, it is very possible that 2017 Range Rover Sport will come refreshed. Beside already-mentioned usual company’s cycle, there is one more thing that indicates possible refresh – Evoque was launched in 2012 and 2016 year model is coming refreshed, so this fact could be also used as reference. When it is about possible changes for new Range Rover Sport, we will see modifications that Evoque undergone.

So, expect to see several visual updates like new front bumper with larger air intakes, revisited grille, headlights, taillights, new spoiler etc. When it is about interior, numerous changes are also expected. New Range Rover Sport will come with some styling tweaks, but the biggest changes will be about features. Many of optional features will become standard now. That especially refers on safety features. Many systems like Lane departure warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) safety system will be standard on new Range Rover Sport.
2017 Range Rover Sport engines
When it is about engines, changes are not expected. The 2017 Range Rover Sport will be available with two petrol and one diesel engine. The base model comes with 3.0 liter V6 Turbocharged petrol engine, which outputs 340 horsepower. The other petrol engine is mighty 5.0 liter Supercharged V8, which is good for 510 horses. Finally, there is a 3.0 liter turbodiesel V6, which has maximum output of 254 horses and 440 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with 8-speed automatic transmission, which features Normal, Sport and Manual shift modes. Four-wheel drive is standard.
2017 Range Rover Sport release date and price

The 2017 Range Rover Sport is expected to come in the second half of next year. More precise date will be known in the future. When it is about price, we expect no changes, so base model should go around 65.000, while top variants will go over 90.000 dollars.
