2017 Acura RDX

MDX model grew both in size and price, company left the space for the new entry-level model in its lineup. This place was taken by Acura’s new model called RDX. It is a compact luxury crossover, which originally came in 2006 and nowadays, this is an entry-level model of Honda’s luxury division. Current model is in its second generation, which came in 2013.

Company recently announced that this crossover will be refreshed soon and, according to the latest reports, it will be for the 2016 year model. This basically means that 2017 Acura RDX will come only a year after mid-cycle refresh so, it probably won’t feature any bigger change.

The 2017 Acura RDX is expected to follow all of the changes that are planned for mid-cycle refresh. It will be a crossover with the pretty much same base characteristics as 2016 year model. Compared to earlier models of second generation, we will see many novelties.
This crossover will undergo some significant visual changes. We will see changes on the both ends. At the front, we will see completely redesigned front fascia, which will feature company’s new Jewel Eye LED headlights, 3D grille, new air intakes, bumper etc.
The rear end will follow these styling changes so we will see new taillights, rear bumper, exhaust system etc. The new Acura RDX will also feature several changes inside. We will see two upgraded packages. The first one called Technology Package will include HD radio, blind-spot information, and rear cross-traffic alert, all as standard features. The other one is called Advance Package, which will feature plenty of latest technologies.
For the 2017 RDX, in this package will be included rain-sensing wipers, front fog lights, bi-directional keyless remote engine start, front and rear parking sensors, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming driver’s-side mirror, AcuraWatch and navigation system with voice recognition.
