2017 Cadillac Escalade

The GM’s luxury brand Cadillac is known for making great luxury cars. The Escalade is one of the brand’s best known models. It is a full-size luxury SUV, which is originally launched in 1999. It is considered as one of the leaders, when it is about this type of SUV’s. 

So far, we have seen four generations of it. Latest model came last year, as 2015 year model. It came with plenty of changes and improvements and it could be considered as a big step forward, compared to third-generation model. Although it is still a very fresh model, company already prepares some changes, so we will see a 2017 Cadillac Escalade with several novelties.

The 2017 Cadillac Escalade will come with several changes. Although new model came just recently, company prepares to make some modifications, both for 2016 and 2017 year models. Of course, if we speak about some of the main characteristics, things will remain unchanged. 

On the other side, company will make several accessory changes that will make this model even more attractive to the potential customers. When it is about visual appearance, 2017 Cadillac Escalade will remain unchanged. However, we will see some new color options – Gray Silk Metallic, Red Passion Tintcoat, Crystal White Tricoat, Dark Emerald Metallic. 

When it is about safety, we will see few improvements. The 2017 Escalade will feature an upgraded Driver Awareness Package. However, it will be available only on the luxury trims. On the other side, Lane Keep Assist comes available for all models. When it is about entertainment, we expect to see a DVD system for the rear seats and also third-row comfort guides as a service part.

When it is about engine, things will remain unchanged. The 2017 Cadillac Escalade will be powered by well-known and proven GM’s 6.2 liter EcoTec3 FlexFuel V8, which is good for 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. When it is about transmission, there are 6-speed and 8-speed automatic gearboxes in offer. Although it is not confirmed, there are many rumors that this luxury SUV could also come with some smaller, more efficient engine in the future.

2017 Cadillac Escalade release date and price

The 2017 Cadillac Escalade is expected to come somewhere in late 2016. When it is about price, we expect no changes, so base model should go around 73.000 dollars.
