Last model of the iconic Blazer K-5 crossover from Chevrolet was released in 1995. After more than two decades, company is reviving this exciting SUV, which could possibly come as 2017 Chevy Blazer K-5. Diesel unit is 4.0-l V8, powerful engine that could produce over 400 horses through 6-speed transmission. Gearbox can be automatic or manual, and that is on buyer’s choice. Other possibility is 7-speed automated box, but we doubt engineers will decide to launch new Blazer K-5 with it.

Premiere of the 2017 Chevy Blazer K-5 could happen by the end of this year. However, since this model is going to be brand new, and not much info is available from company, delay is not impossible. If crossover wants to be competitive on SUV market, price of $40,000 shouldn’t be exceeded.
