The Renegade is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Chrysler, under the Jeep brand. This model was released last year as 2015 year model, as an all-new vehicle. It developed in Europe and it is produced in Italy, along with Fiat 500X, which is its close relative. 

Many of parts like platform, engines etc. are shared between these two models. Although this model is still very fresh, company already works on so-called mid-cycle refresh, which is expected to come in 2017. The 2017 Jeep Renegade is expected to come with several modifications, both in visual and technical aspects.

The 2017 Jeep Renegade will come refreshed. It will keep the same base characteristics, but it will come with plenty of modifications. Most of these changes will be visual nature. This mid-cycle refresh is still about two years ago, so exact details are still unavailable. At this point, we must rely only on rumors and speculations. 

It is expected that 2017 Renegade will come with improved look, which will include changes mostly at the front end. Expect to see improved front fascia, with new headlights and grille, adapted to the new design language. The cabin of this crossover is also expected to come with improvements. The styling is expected to remain pretty much unchanged, but on the other side, expect to see many new or updated hi-tech features.

Chrysler prepares some big changes, when it is about vehicles under the Jeep badge. According to the new 5-year plan, we will see plenty of novelties. There will be several redesigns but also some all-new models. According to the plan, one of its models called Patriot will be replaced. This compact crossover was introduced in 2006 and it made through only one big update in 2011. It will be replaced soon. There were some predictions that its replacement will come already next year, but now it looks that 2017 Jeep Patriot will be produced too. If it comes, it will definitely be its last year of production.

2017 Jeep Patriot specs

This model came in 2006. With just one update, it is easy to conclude that it is pretty much outdated. Since it will be its last year of production, bigger changes for 2017 Patriot are not expected. It will come with the pretty much same characteristics as current model. It will ride on the same PM/MK platform featuring the same, recognizable design. 

Visual appearance will come unchanged, just like it is case with interior design. Beside same styling, it will also be available in same trim levels. Those are – Sport, Latitude and Limited. Although trims will remain the same, we can expect some changes when it is about standard features for each trim. That will probably be the only possible novelty for the 2017 Jeep Patriot. Rest of the things is expected to remain unchaged.
