After few years of pause, Korean carmaker Hyundai is launching
redesigned Veracruz crossover. After not so successful first life in the class,
vehicle was revoked and revisited, and company thinks everything is ready for
2017 Hyundai Veracruz to make larger impact, than it was before. With peak at
spy shots, we can confirm that plans could go better than last time. Modern
look is present on new SUV, while there is no much information about engines.
Only gossip is that vehicle will come with big powerplant and massive output.
2017 Hyundai
Veracruz redesign
Design might be one of the reasons why last run of the Veracruz
crossover failed to fulfill expectations of company’s owners. Now, vehicle is
significantly more elegant than before. Well, it could be said that 2017
Hyundai Veracruz is in par with some top of the class crossovers of same class.
For upcoming model, designers prepared LED lamps for head- and tail lights.
Now
only visual appearance is boosted, but also functional character of these. LED
lamps offer better visibility and lighting. Then, large alloy wheels are
prepared, probably 19-inchers, while even bigger could be used for upper trims.
On the back of the crossover, dual exhaust tips are installed.
2017 Hyundai
Veracruz interior
For the cabin, designers prepared black trim which is elegant and
relaxing. Many modern accessories will make your impression about 2017 Hyundai
Veracruz totally different from its predecessors. Seven seats in the vehicle
are all covered with leather. Wooden trims are used for door panels, dashboard
and arm rests. Three rows of seats are the layout planned for SUV, whose
storage area could be increased by folding some of them. Dual-zone climate
control boosts comfort, which is very important for longer trips.
2017 Hyundai
Veracruz engine
Powertrain lineup for the 2017 Hyundai Veracruz hasn’t been
confirmed yet, but it is expected soon, as the launching date is getting
closer. Only rumor available from partly trusted sources, is about 5.0-l V8
petrol unit that produces around 450 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. However, big
engine is certain, but its specifications are unknown yet. We expect this
crossover to be announced soon, with dealership appearance to be in first
quarter of 2017.
