2017 Mercedes GLS

 

Famous German car maker Mercedes-Benz is making their new models for upcoming years. We expect new crossover in near future. Mid-cycle refreshment is scheduled for 2017 Mercedes GLS, which was GL class before. 

This SUV is one of the most luxurious models in the segment, and company market it as S class of crossovers. Few changes are made on styling, while transmission and powertrain should be revisited.

One of the most luxurious models will be out soon, and fans can expect a lot of unique details on it. Exterior is elegant, with roof rails, under guards and side skirt trim. 

Chrome trims are replaced with night package. There will be Sport exterior package available for higher trims, which includes 21-inch alloy wheels and side running boards. 
This package brings unique bumpers on both ends. Standard models of 2017 Mercedes GLS have LED lightning. New lights are not only functional, but also decorative. Few paint jobs are offered for new Mercedes-Benz crossover, as Diamond White comes as standard, and Cardinal Red is new scheme for 2017 year model.

The 2017 Mercedes GLS can take up to 7 passengers in 3-row layout cabin. Since this is luxurious model, you don’t have to worry about leg- or head-room, as well as for elbows. Second row is very flexible, so that offers additional space and improves access to rear row of seats. Cargo area is also adjustable, and could be enlarged to take more luggage. Steering wheel is covered with leather, while control panel clusters are shown in few colors. A lot of wood and leather is used for many details. Comfort is improved with air ionization system and additions of many infotainment systems.

The 2017 Mercedes GLS crossover will be propelled from 3.0-l BiTurbo V6 engine, ready to deliver 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft torque. This engine uses direct injection for better performance. Other models get power from 4.7-l or 5.5-l V8 units. First can produce 449 hp and 516 lb-ft torque, while output of second is even higher., with 577 hp. Also, one diesel variant of 2017 GLS could be purchased, and it is BiTurbo V6 with 3.0-l displacement. All engines are mated to a seven-speed, 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
