2017 Jaguar F-Pace

New owners make a great effort to revitalize this iconic British brand. In that order, company will introduce several new models in near future. For the first time we will as a crossover with the “Jaguar” badge. There will be at least two models of this kind launched in near future and first one that will come will be a luxury compact-to-mid-size crossover called F-Pace, which will be designed to compete with models such as BMW X3, Audi Q5, Lexus RX350 etc. This will be something completely new, newer seen before from this car maker. According to the latest reports, this all-new model will come in North America next year, as 2017 Jaguar F-Pace.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace design

The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace will be an all-new model, so we are very excited to see what it will look like. According to the information made available, new model will be heavily based on the C-X17 Concept, which was presented in 2013. New model will ride on company’s new platform, which features a new body, which is made mostly of light weight materials such as aluminum. 

When it is about exterior design, 2017 F-Pace will borrow most of details from C-X17 concept. It will feature a front fascia with oval engine grille and snake-eye-like headlights, already seen on some other new models of the company. 

New model will also feature many unique details and many of them, like taillights, will be at the back of the car. When it is about interior, 2017 Jaguar F-Pace will be also based on C-X17 concept. The overall design of the cabin reminds a lot on new XE sedan. Compared to concept, which is strictly a four-seater, production model will feature a rear bench, so it will be able to accommodate five passengers.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace engine

It is expected that 2017 Jaguar F-Pace will be available in two variants, when it is about engines. The base model will use a 3.0 liter Supercharged V6 gasoline engine with 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. New model will be also available in diesel variant. It will use a 2.0 liter Turbocharged diesel engine, which will output 163 hp and 280 lb-ft of max torque. Both variants of 2017 F-Pace will be paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace release date and price

At this point, it is confirmed that 2017 Jaguar F-Pace will come next year. However, more precise date of launch is still unknown. When it is about price, it is expected that base model will go around 38.000 dollars.
