The Porsche Macan is a compact luxury crossover, which was introduced in 2014. Although it is a very fresh model, it instantly became extremely popular and it is already considered as one of the most important models of the company. There are even predictions that this crossover will became company’s best-selling model in very near future. Because of all that, it is not wonder that company prepares some novelties for every year. When it is about 2017 Porsche Macan, changes will be small, but notable. It will come with unique styling, which is influenced by several company’s classics such as 911 Carrera, 918 Spider etc. It is a perfect combination of modern and retro details. On one side, there are large touchscreen, digital controls and similar things, while on the other side 2017 Macan features around 30 classic analog buttons for different controls.

2017 Porsche Macan engine

The 2017 Porsche Macan will be available in many variants when it is about engines. The base engine, which is not available in U.S. is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with 234 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The Macan uses a 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6, which is good for 335 horses and 339 lb-ft of twist. Finally, the most powerful Macan Turbo is powered with 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6, which has maximum output of 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The 2017 Porsche Macan will be also available in diesel variant. It is called Macan S Diesel and it is powered with 3.0 liter turbodiesel V6 engine with 245 hp and 428 lb-ft of max torque. All engines are paired with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

2017 Porsche Macan release date and price

The arrival of 2017 Porsche Macan is planned for the second half of next year. Price is expected to remain unchanged, which means in a range between 50.000 and 75.000 dollars.
